This exclusive tour will allow SAE members and their guests to dive deeper into the parade's fascinating history, explore the sprawling 200,000 square-foot storyland of floats, and witness firsthand how the award-winning artisans bring these magical creations to life with precision, passion, and imagination.

Take a journey through this unique creative kingdom, where artistry meets tradition. Marvel at the world's largest collection of papier-mâché heads, each one a whimsical tribute to local icons, beloved celebrities, and cherished characters from generations past. These oversized masterpieces line the halls like a gallery of Detroit’s cultural spirit.

The Parade Company costume shop houses over 3,000 costumes that are designed and created in the Detroit studio. From glittering gowns to fantastical creature suits, these costumes transform performers into the colorful cast that fills the streets with joy each Thanksgiving morning.

Bring your family, big or small, to see the most unique tour in all of Detroit, a celebration of creativity, community, and the magic behind one of the nation’s most cherished holiday traditions.
