Wednesday, July 26
12:00 - 1:00 p.m. ET
(Complimentary Virtual Event)

As a technology company and partner to all automakers and new mobility players, Valeo is innovating ways to make mobility cleaner, safer, and smarter. Valeo is a leader in electrification, driving assistance systems, reinvention of the interior experience, and lighting.

Valeo's San Mateo, California site houses advanced development teams who specifically focus on creating cutting edge artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving. AI plays a big role in bringing new functions and features for ADAS to life.

One of the ways AI can improve autonomous driving is to help the vehicle understand VRUs, such as pedestrians and bicycles, in order to maintain safety. Valeo’s Driving Assistance Research team in the U.S. has created two technologies around understanding VRUs: MovePredict.AI and Pantomime. Join their machine learning expert, Jagdish Bhanushali, to discover more about these AI powered technologies and how they can help to identify and understand VRU behavior, gestures, and to infer intent.
