Barrier-Free Mass Transit and Autonomous Vehicles
Wednesday, May 26
12:00 - 1:15 p.m. ET
(Complimentary Virtual Event)

Join us for a technical discussion addressing solutions for the need of barrier-free mass transit and understanding how universal design language could impact automated vehicles and coordinating vehicle design language with infrastructure.

Did you know more than one billion people across the world are living with a disability, and more than 60 percent of people with disabilities report major obstacles as it relates to travel and mobility? An accessible, barrier-free vehicle has been a commonly cited need among municipal, aging, and healthcare ecosystems.

The research conducted by POCO Labs and the Autonomous Vehicle Alliance (AVA) identifies their needs and how people of various abilities could interact with these vehicles and infrastructure.

Moderator:
Michael Ramsey, Vice President, Analyst, Automotive and Smart Mobility, Gartner
