Mobility Talks: Cyber Securities
Wednesday, March 17
3:00 - 4:00 p.m. ET
(Complimentary Virtual Event)

This is a joint event with the Michigan Mobility Institute. Advances to in-vehicle services, manufacturer backend services, and infrastructure connectivity enhance the vehicle experience but also open up new risks from bad actors. Designing new standards and new ways to secure both hardware and software is a growing field within mobility. In fact, one recent leading industry report projects that the cybersecurity market will grow to nearly $10 billion by 2030. This discussion will highlight panelists working in roles across the cybersecurity landscape and feature a conversation on what is driving the demand for new jobs in this field.

Moderator
Jessica Robinson, Chair, Michigan Mobility Institute

Panelists
Tamara Shoemaker, Director, Detroit Mercy Center for Cyber Security & Intel Studies
Dr. Samir Tout, Professor of Information Assurance (SISAC), Eastern Michigan University
