Joint meeting with SAE Mid-Michigan Section

3:00 - 4:00 p.m. EDT

Join us for a discussion with DroneDeploy and Kettering Aviation to learn how drones are being used during times of crisis today and their role in education.

DroneDeploy transforms how businesses collect, manage, and interpret drone data. Andrew Dennison, Director of Professional Services at DroneDeploy will provide an overview of the value of drones and drone data as it relates to maintenance planning, site assessments, inspections for damage on disasters, and emergency response in light of the dam failures in Edenville and Sanford, Michigan.

Kettering Aviation is Kettering University’s SAE Aero Design competition team. Every year, they use advanced manufacturing and design to build an aircraft with trusted performance. The Kettering Aerospace Team has been using Drone Technology for their latest Collegiate Design projects and will discuss its role in education today.
