Fuel Economy is a major issue for the automotive industry. The government requirements for Corporate Fuel Economy (MPG) continue to rise each year, currently peaking in 54.5 MPG by the year 2025. All OEMs and suppliers are diligently working to meet the rising standards.

This technical meeting will include discussions on the “Physics of Fuel Economy” in vehicles and what current and new technologies are necessary to meet the 54.5 MPG requirement.

The following questions will be addressed:
•  Where did the 54.5 MPG come from?
•  What are the costs and benefits?

•  Will the consumer be willing to pay the cost?
