4th Annual Automotive Innovation Competition
Our industry is facing immense challenges. New ideas abound, however, the issue is not innovation - the real issue is how do they get through to implementation? The SAE Detroit Section, in concert with MIT Entrepreneurial Forum (MITEF), will offer its member engineers a chance to meet new inventors that have potential solutions for some of these industry challenges. The 4th Annual SAE Detroit Section/MITEF Automotive Innovation Competition will be made up of new entrepreneurs with great ideas for the automotive industry. SAE
Detroit and MITEF have reviewed a number of applicants and are presenting five finalists in this competition that have demonstrated excellent business cases and robust innovations with supporting science.
This competition is making a difference to help OEM’s pre-screen the best new innovations that are ready for rapid commercialization and new high value creation. As proof, some of the past three year winners and finalists have already created specific OEM on boarding projects.
The Five Finalists Include:
Dynamic Intelligent Solutions, LLC (DIS)
- developed an innovative, patent-pending process called ChamberCam™ that takes
measuring the dimensional stability of components under extreme climatic
conditions to a whole new level in terms of efficiency, reduced development,
time and cost. www.dynamic3dmeasure.com
